BROKEN CLOVIS
FOUND JULY 2005
CONNECTICUT ARROWHEADS
I found this tip on Monday July 4th 2005. It is a Litchfield County find. The Red flint material looks a little like Normanskill flint. It is hard to see the marking on the tip in the left picture but it is there. I have found many points over my lifetime of collecting but this is probably one of my all time favorites. These points a extremely rare in Connecticut.

If you look at the lower part of the point you can see the mark. Normaly with Normanskill the flint is green and the marking is white. On this point it is two shades of red.
